One Potato’s Commitment to Ingredient Sourcing

One Potato’s Commitment to Ingredient Sourcing

Dec 18, 2022Rache Brand

Family Meals Made Easy is our mantra and our goal. We want One Potato to save time for busy families. We do our best to ensure quality food arrives as it should; fresh and ready to cook.

All of our recipes are taken from Weelicious and are kid-tested and approved.

We have been building relationships with quality purveyors and selecting ingredients based on weekly meals. We are holistic in our approach to selection. Our goal is to make sure the product you receive is high quality and ships well. We will source accordingly: organic, local, non-GMO, certified organic, sustainable, regenerative, conventional, family-favorite brands, and new & novel ingredients. It all depends on the dish we are creating, what is needed, and the period of the year.

Our commitment to you is to update our recipe cards weekly and provide as much transparency as possible on how we source and what we offer. We will pass forward labeling from any purveyors, and here is an ongoing list of vendors we source from on an ongoing basis.

One of the items we also wanted to share was our exciting relationship with Melissa’s, a local produce purveyor. They have exceptional products, which we have been sending for the last couple of weeks and have enjoyed! Some of our favorites are their organic baby heirloom tomatoes, organic steamed lentils (we included them in one of Chef Catherine’s Specials), and their peewee potatoes.

We also are creating more partnerships with brands like Mike’s Mighty Good Craft Ramen and Nicola’s Pasta. Over the holidays, you will see fun brand partnerships with companies like Handstand Kitchen and Hedley & Bennett.

Sourcing is a dialogue we want you to have with us! Reach out anytime to sourcing@onepotato.com, and we will do our best to answer.
