Air Fryer Pumpkin Spiced Sweet Potatoes are a simple and flavorful side dish perfect for fall and holiday meals. The air fryer creates crispy edges and tender centers, while pumpkin pie spice and maple syrup add warm seasonal sweetness. Best of all, the dish comes together quickly with just a handful of ingredients.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 12 tablespoons oil
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup

Instructions

    1. Prepare the sweet potatoes
In a bowl, toss the diced sweet potatoes with the pumpkin pie spice, salt, and oil until evenly coated.

    2. Air fry
Place the sweet potatoes in the air fryer basket in an even layer.
Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 12–14 minutes, or until golden and fork-tender.

    3. Finish with maple syrup
Once cooked, drizzle the sweet potatoes with maple syrup and toss gently to coat.

    4. Serve
Serve warm as a side dish.

Notes

  • Cut sweet potatoes into even-sized cubes so they cook evenly.
  • Shake the air fryer basket halfway through cooking for crispier results.
  • Add toppings like toasted pecans, walnuts, or dried cranberries for extra texture.
  • A sprinkle of sea salt after cooking enhances the sweet maple flavor.
