Ingredients
- 1 cup semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate chips
- 4 large pieces matzah crackers, each cut into 6 smaller pieces
- ½ cup sprinkles of choice
Instructions
Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl (preferably glass). Heat for 60 seconds, stirring halfway through. Continue heating in 15-second intervals if needed until smooth.
Alternatively, place the bowl over a small pot filled with 1 inch of simmering water and stir until melted, about 3–4 minutes.
Step 2: Drizzle the ChocolateUsing a spoon, drizzle the melted chocolate over half of each matzah cracker. Place the dipped pieces on parchment paper.
Step 3: Add SprinklesWhile the chocolate is still warm, sprinkle generously with your favorite sprinkles. Allow the chocolate to cool and set completely, about 20 minutes.
Notes
- Chocolate Hack: For shinier chocolate that hardens quickly, stir in 1–2 teaspoons of coconut oil to create a DIY magic shell effect.
- Sprinkle Quickly: Add sprinkles immediately while the chocolate is warm. If you wait too long, the chocolate will harden and the sprinkles won’t stick properly.
- Customize It: Try white chocolate, dark chocolate, crushed nuts, or shredded coconut for a fun variation.
- Storage: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
