If you’re looking for a way to start the morning strong—for yourself and your kids—this Crazy Healthy Smoothie delivers. It’s packed with fruits, vegetables, healthy fats, fiber, and plant-based protein, all blended into one creamy, surprisingly delicious glass.

This is the kind of breakfast that helps you walk out the door feeling fueled instead of sluggish. Big nutrition. Simple ingredients. One blender.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 carrot, peeled
  • 1 small beet, peeled
  • 1 big handful kale or spinach (about 1 loose cup)
  • 2 pitted dates
  • 1 teaspoon hemp seeds
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon bee pollen
  • 1/4 cup walnuts (or other nuts)
  • 1 cup frozen fruit
  • 1 cup almond milk

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender.
  2. Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
  3. Add more almond milk as needed to reach your desired consistency.
  4. Pour into glasses and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use a High-Powered Blender:
A strong blender helps fully break down the beet, carrot, seeds, and nuts for a smooth texture.
  • Adjust Sweetness:
If your frozen fruit isn’t very sweet, add an extra date.
  • Nut Substitutions:
Swap walnuts for almonds, cashews, or pecans depending on what you have on hand.
  • Make It Nut-Free:
Use sunflower seeds instead of walnuts and substitute oat milk for almond milk.
  • Prep Ahead:
Chop the beet and carrot in advance and store in the fridge to make mornings even easier.
