Warm, spiced, and perfectly cozy, this Gingerbread Latte combines rich espresso with molasses and warming spices for a café-style drink you can make right at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of ground ginger
  • Pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon coconut sugar
  • 2 teaspoons molasses
  • 1 espresso shot
  • 1 cup milk of choice

Instructions

  1. Add the cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, coconut sugar, and molasses to a mug. Stir to combine.
  2. Brew an espresso shot directly into the mug.
  3. Heat and froth the milk using a milk frother, espresso machine, or stovetop method.
  4. Pour the warm milk into the mug and stir until everything is well combined.
  5. Serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • Milk Options: Oat milk makes this extra creamy, while almond milk adds a light nutty flavor.
  • Sweeter Latte: Add a little maple syrup or extra coconut sugar if you prefer a sweeter drink.
  • No Espresso Machine? Strong brewed coffee works perfectly too.
  • Extra Cozy: Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg for a coffeehouse-style finish.
