Instructions
1. Core the Apples
- Use an apple corer to remove the center.
2. Slice into Rings
- Slice apples horizontally into ½-inch thick rounds.
3. Prevent Browning
- Prepare a bowl of water with:
- A squeeze of lemon juice (or a pinch of salt)
- Briefly dip apple slices, then pat dry.
4. Add Filling
- Spread a layer of nut butter on one apple ring.
- Add a small amount of jam or preserves on top.
5. Assemble
- Place a second apple ring on top to form a sandwich.
