Notes
Prevent Browning
Press plastic wrap directly onto the surface of the guacamole before storing to minimize air exposure.
Use an Airtight Container
Store guacamole in the refrigerator in a tightly sealed container.
Reduce Air Space
Choose a container that fits the guacamole closely to reduce oxidation.
Avoid Ethylene Fruits
Keep guacamole away from fruits like bananas and apples, which release ethylene gas that accelerates browning.
If It Starts to Brown
Stir in a little extra lime or lemon juice to help slow oxidation.
