  • 12 ounces frozen mixed berries

  • 1 ripe banana

  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

  • ½ cup milk of choice (dairy or plant-based)

Optional Add-Ins

  • Raw walnuts

  • Chia seeds

  • Hemp seeds

  • Bee pollen

  • Cocoa nibs

Instructions

  • Blend Ingredients
Place frozen berries, banana, cocoa powder, and milk into a blender or food processor.

  • Blend Until Smooth
Blend until creamy and smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides if needed.

  • Adjust Consistency
Add additional milk, one tablespoon at a time, and blend until your desired ice cream consistency is reached.

  • Serve or Freeze
Serve immediately for a soft-serve texture, or freeze for 1–2 hours for a firmer scoopable ice cream.

Notes

Texture Tips

  • For a thicker ice cream, use less milk or add extra frozen fruit.

  • For a creamier result, use full-fat milk or coconut milk.

Make It Your Own

  • Add walnuts or hemp seeds for healthy fats and protein.

  • Sprinkle cocoa nibs for crunch and extra antioxidants.

  • Chia seeds help thicken the mixture naturally.

Storage

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 1 week.

  • Let sit at room temperature for 5–10 minutes before scooping.
