Ingredients
-
1 pound ground chicken breast
-
1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
-
1 teaspoon ground cumin
-
½ teaspoon garlic powder
-
¼ teaspoon onion powder
-
1 teaspoon kosher salt
-
1 large egg
-
1 tablespoon oil, for cooking
Instructions
-
Mix the ingredients. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, cilantro, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and egg. Mix gently until everything is evenly incorporated.
-
Shape the patties. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each into a mini patty.
-
Heat the skillet. Warm the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
-
Cook the sliders. Add the patties and cook for about 4 minutes per side, adjusting as needed until fully cooked. Ground chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
-
Serve. Place the patties in mini buns or serve them with your favorite toppings and side dishes.
Notes
-
Mix gently: Overworking ground chicken can make the patties dense.
-
Keep patties uniform: Even sizing helps the sliders cook at the same rate.
-
Prevent sticking: Make sure the oil is heated before adding the patties, and flip them carefully.
-
Check doneness: Use a food thermometer to confirm the center reaches 165°F.
