8 ounces unsweetened chocolate baking squares

1/2 cup unsalted butter

2 cups granulated sugar

1 cup whole milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a large saucepan over low heat, melt together the chocolate, butter, and sugar, stirring constantly until smooth.
- Stir in the milk and cook for 2–3 minutes more, until heated through and well combined.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
- Carefully pour into mason jars and allow to cool before sealing. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
To Reheat: Microwave the sauce in a glass container for about 2 minutes, stirring halfway through, then spoon over ice cream, cake, or cookies.
