A quick, no-bake snack made with oats, nut butter, and chocolate chips. These bite-sized treats are naturally sweet, energy-dense, and perfect for grab-and-go snacking.

Ingredients

  • ▢ 1 cup old fashioned oats
  • ▢ 1/2 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
  • ▢ 1/2 cup peanut butter or sun butter
  • ▢ 1/2 cup ground flaxseed
  • ▢ 1/2 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or vegan)
  • ▢ 1/3 cup honey or agave nectar
  • ▢ 1 tablespoon chia seeds or hemp seeds
  • ▢ 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ▢ Dye-free sprinkles (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients except sprinkles into a food processor.
  2. Pulse until the mixture is fully combined and sticky enough to hold together.
  3. Scoop and roll into 1-inch balls using your hands.
  4. Roll each ball in sprinkles to coat.
  5. Refrigerate in an airtight container until firm.

Notes

  • Texture control: If the mixture is too dry, add a small amount of nut butter or honey. If too wet, add extra oats or flaxseed.
  • Nut-free option: Use sun butter for a school-safe version.
  • Storage: Keep refrigerated for up to 7 days in an airtight container.
  • Freezing: Freeze up to 2 months; thaw for 10–15 minutes before eating.
  • Serving idea: Great for lunchboxes, snack packs, or post-workout bites.
