A fast, no-bake snack designed for convenience, texture, and sustained energy. These bars combine nut butter, seeds, and cereal into a compact, protein-rich grab-and-go option that works equally well for breakfast, lunchboxes, or post-workout snacking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 3 1/2 cups O’s cereal
  • 3 tablespoons hemp seeds
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds

Instructions

1. Melt the Binder

  • In a saucepan over low heat, combine:
    • peanut butter
    • Honey
  • Stir for about 1 minute, until smooth and combined

Microwave option:
Heat in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval

2. Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine:

  • O’s cereal
  • hemp seeds
  • chia seeds

3. Combine

  • Pour warm peanut butter mixture over cereal mixture
  • Stir thoroughly until evenly coated

4. Press into Pan

  • Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper
  • Transfer mixture into pan
  • Press firmly with a spatula until smooth and compact

5. Chill

  • Refrigerate or freeze for about 15 minutes until firm

6. Slice & Serve

  • Cut into bars or squares
  • Serve immediately or store chilled

Notes

  • Press firmly: Prevents bars from crumbling
  • Use parchment paper: Makes removal easier
  • Cool fully before slicing: Improves structural stability
