Ingredients
- 1½ cups collard greens, coarsely chopped
- Juice of 1 large lemon
- 2–3 tablespoons agave, or to taste
- 2 cups water
Instructions
- Add the collard greens, lemon juice, agave, and water to a blender.
- Blend on high for about 1 minute, or until completely smooth.
- Pour into glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
- Sweetness: Adjust the agave to taste depending on the tartness of the lemon. Honey or maple syrup can also be substituted.
- Greens: Kale or spinach can be used instead of collard greens for a slightly milder flavor.
- Storage: Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Shake or stir well before serving, as natural separation will occur.
