No reviews

A creamy, sweet, nutrient-packed kale smoothie that tastes like dessert — truly.

Yes, there’s kale in it.
No, you won’t taste it.

This smoothie blends leafy greens with naturally sweet fruit and creamy cashews to create a thick, soft-serve-style treat that feels indulgent while nourishing your body at the same time.

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup milk of choice
  • ½ teaspoon probiotic powder (optional)
  • ½ cup raw, unsalted cashews, soaked
  • 1 cup torn curly green kale leaves
  • 2 ripe bananas (fresh or frozen)
  • ¼ cup chopped pitted dates, soaked OR 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon alcohol-free vanilla extract
  • 2 cups ice cubes (slightly less if using frozen bananas)
  • ½ teaspoon minced ginger (optional)

Instructions

  • Step 1: Add to Blender

Place all ingredients into your blender in the order listed.

    Step 2: Blend

Puree for about one minute, or until completely smooth and creamy.

    Step 3: Adjust

Taste and tweak as desired. Add more kale for extra greens, more sweetener for sweetness, or a bit more ginger for warmth and spice.

Serve immediately for the best thick, ice-cream-like texture.

Notes

  • Use ripe bananas for maximum natural sweetness and creaminess.
  • Soak cashews ahead of time for an ultra-smooth consistency, especially if you’re not using a high-speed blender.
  • Adjust the ice depending on your preferred texture — more for thick and spoonable, less for easy sipping.
  • Using a conventional blender? Opt for maple syrup instead of dates, or finely chop the soaked dates to help everything blend smoothly.
  • Frozen banana tip: If using frozen bananas, slightly reduce the ice to avoid over-thickening.
