Ingredients
- 8 large romaine lettuce leaves
- 8 slices turkey deli meat
- 8 slices cooked bacon
- 1 avocado, sliced
Instructions
- Remove the thick stem from each romaine leaf.
- Lay one lettuce leaf flat, then place a second leaf on top in the opposite direction to create a sturdy wrap base.
- Add fillings:
- 2 slices turkey
- 2 slices cooked bacon
- 1/4 of the sliced avocado
- Roll the lettuce tightly into a wrap, tucking in the sides as you go.
- Slice in half for easier serving.
- Repeat with remaining ingredients to make 4 wraps total.
- Secure with a toothpick if needed or place seam-side down to hold shape.
Notes
- Crumble bacon if it’s too crisp to roll smoothly.
- Butter lettuce can be used for a softer, more flexible wrap.
- Add tomato slices, cheese, or a smear of mayo or mustard for extra flavor.
- Best eaten fresh to keep the lettuce crisp.
