These Chicken, Peach & Bell Pepper Skewers are marinated in a tangy-sweet sauce that’s absolutely irresistible. Juicy peaches, tender chicken, and colorful bell peppers come together for the ultimate summer BBQ recipe.

There’s something magical about cooking with peaches when they’re in season. Their natural sweetness caramelizes beautifully on the grill, pairing perfectly with savory marinated chicken and crisp bell peppers.

Whether you’re hosting a backyard BBQ or just looking for a fresh weeknight dinner that doesn’t require turning on the oven, these skewers are the answer. They’re vibrant, flavorful, and incredibly easy to prepare.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard

  • 2 tablespoons honey

  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 1 1/2 pounds chicken breasts, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces

  • 2 firm but ripe peaches, cut into 1-inch pieces

  • 1 bell pepper, cut into 1-inch pieces

Instructions

Step 1: Make the Marinade

In a large bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, cider vinegar, olive oil, and salt until smooth and well combined.

Step 2: Marinate

Add the chicken, peach, and bell pepper pieces to the bowl. Toss gently to coat everything evenly in the marinade.

Cover and refrigerate for up to 2 hours.

Step 3: Preheat

Preheat your grill to high heat or set your oven broiler to high.

Step 4: Assemble & Cook

Thread the marinated chicken, peaches, and bell peppers onto skewers, alternating ingredients.

Cook on the grill or under the broiler for about 6 minutes total, turning halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and lightly caramelized.

Step 5: Serve

Remove from heat and serve immediately while warm and juicy.

Notes

  • Use Firm Peaches: Slightly firm peaches hold up better on skewers and won’t fall apart during cooking.

  • Soak Wooden Skewers: If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 20 minutes before grilling.

  • Watch Closely Under the Broiler: The honey in the marinade can caramelize quickly.

  • Make It a Meal: Serve with grilled vegetables, a fresh salad, or rice for a complete dinner.

  • Vegetarian Option: Skip the chicken and double the peaches and peppers for a delicious plant-based version.
