Ran out of almond milk but need a quick solution? This Easy Almond Milk recipe is a simple blender hack that comes together in minutes using almond butter. Smooth, lightly sweet, and perfectly creamy, it’s ideal for cereal, smoothies, coffee, or baking when you need dairy-free milk fast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups cold water

  • 3 tablespoons almond butter

  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup

  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Add the cold water, almond butter, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and a small pinch of salt to a blender.

  2. Blend on high speed until completely smooth and fully combined, about 20–30 seconds.

  3. Taste and adjust sweetness or salt if desired.

  4. Use immediately or store in a sealed container in the refrigerator.

Notes

No Soaking Required
Unlike traditional almond milk, this shortcut uses almond butter, eliminating soaking and straining.

Adjust Sweetness
Add more maple syrup for sweeter milk or omit entirely for an unsweetened version.

Make It Frothy for Coffee
Blend an extra 10–15 seconds for a lighter, frothier texture perfect for lattes.

Storage
Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Shake well before using, as natural separation may occur.

Flavor Variations

  • Chocolate: Add 1 teaspoon cocoa powder.

  • Cinnamon Vanilla: Add a pinch of cinnamon.

  • Unsweetened: Skip maple syrup for a neutral milk base.
